Profile
The Profile tab is the first tab when you open a client. It shows the current scenario: start date, retirement age, whether the client has a partner, NZ Super automatic, portfolio, and inflation setting. The Settings card shows the current scenario’s Client settings (inflation, KiwiSaver, NZ Super, Income Tax)—a clone of the global settings that applies only to this scenario.
Scenarios
Section titled “Scenarios”A client can have more than one scenario (e.g. different retirement ages or portfolios). The profile card shows the name of the current scenario and its main settings. Open the kebab menu (⋮) on the profile card to:
- Edit: Edit the current scenario. Change the fields in the drawer (e.g. Scenario Name, Start Date, etc), then click Save. A notification confirms success or failure.
- Switch: (Only when the client has more than one scenario.) Open the client edit view to switch which scenario is current.
- New: Create a new scenario. Fill the form in the drawer and click Save. A notification confirms success or failure.
- Duplicate: Create a copy of the current scenario. The new scenario opens in the drawer for you to adjust and save.
Fields
Section titled “Fields”For details on what each field does (start date, retirement age, partner, portfolio, inflation, NZ Super automatic), see Add a client.
To edit the client’s financial data (assets, salary, transactions, retirement), use the Assets, Salary, Transactions, and Retirement tabs and their documentation pages.
